"What we do for ourselves dies with us.  What we do for others and the world remains and is immortal." - Albert Pine
Welcome to the official website of Lincoln County Fire Protection District #1. We have recently renovated to better serve the needs of the community.  Please tell us if there is anything you would like to see.

Mike Cherry, Fire Chief
Our firefighters are supported by a wonderful group of ladies who are just as much a part of the Fire District as our members.  In fact, without support of our ladies this job would be very difficult, if not impossible.  We salute our Ladies Auxiliary for the time and effort they put into supporting our District and firefighters.
 Who We Are...
The Lincoln County Fire Protection District serves Troy, Moscow Mills, and several surrounding rural communities. The district covers approximately 163 square miles bordering St. Charles and Warren Counties to the South. Lincoln County Fire Protection District operates with four stations. Station 1 is staffed with a 24 hour career crew and the remaining manpower comes from a wonderful group of Volunteers.
Donate Today and Help Lincoln County Families!
The Lincoln County Firefighter's Foundation, a Non-Profit Organization founded by Lincoln County Firefighters, helps families in need throughout the year.  Adopt-A-Family and Fire Victims Assistance are the two main programs which are entirely supported by donations.  Your generous donation helps us bring smiles, gifts and food to families who wouldn't otherwise have the means, especially around the holidays.  We also support those who've been significantly impacted by fire, such as a total loss of home and contents.

Donations are accepted throughout the year.  Thank you in advance for your generous donation!
