Lincoln County Fire Protection District #1 recently conducted a survey where residents were asked to rate district performance and offer opinions regarding services. 287 residents completed the survey.

Overall, the survey results were very positive. Nearly 80% of those surveyed feel the Fire District does an “excellent or good” job in regard to professionalism, customer service, fiscal responsibility, service provided as well as their overall impression of the district.

Also, the fire district has recently started an “Emergency Response Survey” where residents who’ve needed firefighters to respond to an emergency are surveyed regarding the on-scene performance of personnel. Residents are asked to rate the fire district and personnel on timely arrival, professionalism, knowledge, competence, effectiveness, treatment received and overall impression of the fire district. To date, the results show 100% of those surveyed feel the fire district and personnel do an “excellent or good” job.

Lincoln County Fire Protection District #1 thanks all residents who took the survey. The time and effort spent to complete the survey has provided the fire district with a tool that will be used for improvement and continued service excellence.
